Smriti Mandana becomes the first Indian player to play in Kia Super League, England. The Indian opener will play for Western Storm in the upcoming season.
The 21 years old has really been in a great form right from her return from injury, especially this year where she even captained IPL Trailblazers in the T20 challenge which happened ahead of the IPL qualifier one.
Talking about this, Smriti Mandana said: “I am very excited to be playing for the Kia Super League champions. To be the first Indian player to appear in the tournament is a real honour and I hope that I can help Western Storm to more success.”
Mandana has featured in Women’s Big Bash League earlier where she played for Brisbane Heat.
