The upcoming tri-series between Zimbabwe, Australia, Pakistan scheduled to start from July 1, is in jeopardy as cricketers from the host nation set a deadline for their governing body to clear their dues.
The financial mess in Zimbabwe has led to delayed salaries for cricketers and staff members.
The players have threatened to boycott the series if the payment is not cleared by June 25.
According to reports, the Zimbabwe cricketers are still waiting to receive match fees from last July’s tour of Sri Lanka.
The officials are working on it and will solve the issue by this week.
