Over 20 Rajasthan Royals 177/6/No

A vital two points for Rajasthan as they go level on points with Mumbai and Kolkata. Plenty of work for them to be still done, but they will relish this win. Chennai may have lost, but their position on the table remains unaffected. Anyway, on the 12th of May, there is a double-header as it's a Saturday and the action begins with Punjab hosting Kolkata at 1600 local (1030 GMT), followed by Delhi vs Bangalore in the capital of the country at 2000 local (1430 GMT). It's going to be a power-packed day, so do join in on all the action. Cheers!
Jos Buttler is obviously and rightly declared as the Man of the Match. He is in prime form at the moment as he scored his fourth consecutive fifty. Tonight, his 95 off 60 deliveries was the pillar of the chase and eventually, the match-winner for his side.
Chennai, in particular MS Dhoni, would be a touch disappointed in the bowling performance to say the least. More so because, after the early blitz from Buttler, they pulled things back well in the middle and got the upper hand. This format in particular is of small margins and if not for those two big maximums in Willey's over, maybe the away side would have been on the other side of the result. Goes to show you need to be disciplined at all times. A night to ponder for the visitors, one to celebrate for the hosts. Earlier in the evening, Chennai posted a total in excess of 175 of the back of a Raina fifty and some late hitting from Dhoni and Billings, but it didn't prove to be enough.
The hosts are not yet done in this tournament and they have Jos Buttler to thank for that. He's almost single-handedly taken his side across the line right at the finish. He started off well, despite Stokes' early loss and kept on going. He made some vital partnerships in the middle and kept the scoreboard ticking despite the wickets falling. Chennai did get back in in the middle overs and would have won as well, had it not been for Krishnappa Gowtham's neat little cameos. Those two blows he scored off David Willey's over proved to be the x-factor as it got his side within firing range, enabling Buttler to finish it off late. Superb knock from the Englishman, he remained unbeaten on 95.
19.5
D Bravo to Jos Buttler, Jos Buttler has done it. Absolute pandemonium in the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Unreal scenes. What a knock. Rajasthan survive to fight another day. Buttler slaps this towards extra cover and takes off. Watson has a needless shy at the bowler's end and misses. There's nobody backing up and seeing this, Buttler calls for the second and gets it. RAJASTHAN WIN BY 4 WICKETS!
19.4
D Bravo to Jos Buttler, SIX! That's a phenomenal strike! Jos Buttler with an absolute blinder of a hit here. It's full, in his slot and he smokes this away. Backs away and clobbers it over mid-wicket for a biggie. 2 in 2 to win now.
19.3
D Bravo to Jos Buttler, That's gone high in the air.... and it's fallen safe! Unreal. Everybody is out in the deep and it's fallen down safely inside the ring. Full and slower on the stumps, Buttler swings and skies it in the mid-wicket area. Nobody can believe how that's not been taken. Bravo actually was going for it but slipped in the process. Two runs taken. 8 from 3 now.
19.2
D Bravo to Jos Buttler, Length ball around off, smacked down to long on for two.
19.1
D Bravo to Jos Buttler, Precious, precious dot. Perfect start to the over. Bravo cleverly bowls the slower one outside off, Buttler doesn't pick it up as he swings early and misses.

Over 19 Rajasthan Royals 165/6/Yes

And Shane Watson will bowl the final over.
18.6
D Willey to K Gowtham, OUT! Edged and taken! Gowtham departs, but he just might have done enough for Rajasthan. Back of a length outside off, Krishnappa swings and gets an edge behind which Dhoni takes. 12 off the last over with Buttler on strike. What's going to happen here?
18.5
D Willey to K Gowtham, SIX! BOOM! This is great striking from Krishnappa Gowtham. Right out of the screws this one. Full and in his slot, Gowtham stands firm and smokes it straight back down the ground for a maximum.
18.4
D Willey to Jos Buttler, Rolls his fingers over this and angles in a full delivery on leg, Buttler makes room and tries to go big over the leg side, but gets an inside edge on the pads instead. Single to the total.
18.3
D Willey to K Gowtham, Brisk single. Gowtham just runs this down to Harbhajan at short third man and brings Buttler back on strike.
18.3
D Willey to K Gowtham, Wide! Angled down leg, Gowtham flicks and misses. Wide called by the umpire.
18.2
D Willey to K Gowtham, SIX! That's gone all the way! Krishnappa Gowtham, what a man! Full and outside off, Gowtham slogs this powerfully over extra cover. Has enough behind it to send it all the way into the stands.
18.1
D Willey to Jos Buttler, Full delivery just outside off, Buttler backs away and smacks it to long on. One run collected.

Over 18 Rajasthan Royals 149/5/No

17.6
D Bravo to Jos Buttler, Buttler premeditates the scoop shot but there's no pace on the ball. Dhoni does well to move to his left and get a hand to it with a dive. Single taken. Rajasthan need 28 off 12.
17.5
D Bravo to Jos Buttler, Coming back in leg, tucked in front of square leg for a couple.
Krishnappa Gowtham is the new batsman in.
17.4
D Bravo to S Binny, OUT! Gone next ball! Bravo strikes. Full toss on the stumps, Binny swings and gets it off the upper portion of the bat. Skies it in the cover area where Watson runs back, settles himself under the ball and takes a well-judged catch.
17.3
D Bravo to S Binny, SIX! Hello... hello! Stuart Binny has cleared the fence. Much-needed for Rajasthan. Ahead of a length on off, Binny stands tall and launches it over the long on boundary for half a dozen.
17.2
D Bravo to Jos Buttler, Dropped! But that's such a difficult chance. Buttler makes room and hammers it back down. Bravo leaps and gets his fingertips to it, but it's too hard and too high for him to hold on to it. Single taken.
17.1
D Bravo to Jos Buttler, Dot ball. Good start from Bravo. Buttler makes room and Bravo follows him. Jos can't get it away and wears it on the pads.

Over 17 Rajasthan Royals 139/4/No

Dwayne Bravo back on to bowl.
16.6
D Willey to Jos Buttler, Fuller on the stumps, Buttler shuffles across and paddle scoops it down to fine leg. Just the single results. 38 to win in 18.
16.5
D Willey to Jos Buttler, Short of a good length on the stumps, Buttler jumps out and hits it straight to Willey.
16.4
D Willey to Jos Buttler, Buttler steps out and punches it to point. There is a shy at his end so he has to dive back in. Dangerous, though even if there was a direct hit he would have been safe.
16.3
D Willey to Jos Buttler, FOUR! Superb placement. Superb. Back of a length on off, from around the wicket, Buttler slaps this through cover. The sweeper is a bit too square, so no matter how much he runs, he can't get to it. Lovely stuff from Jos Buttler.
16.2
D Willey to S Binny, Angling back in on middle and leg, on a length, worked off the inner half through mid-wicket for a run.
16.1
D Willey to S Binny, Back of a length outside off, Binny steps out and slaps it through the covers for a double.

Over 16 Rajasthan Royals 131/4/No

15.6
S Watson to Jos Buttler, FOUR.
15.5
S Watson to S Binny, Shorter in length on middle, Binny mistimes his pull towards mid-wicket for a run. Just five from the over so far, can he end it well?
15.4
S Watson to Jos Buttler, DROPPED! Buttler has been dropped. Watson is the man who scuffs it on his own bowling. A tough chance though. This is full and on off, Buttler hits it hard back towards the bowler. Watson in his followthrough gets two hands to it but can't hang on. That had to stick. How costly will that prove? A single taken by the batsmen.
15.3
S Watson to S Binny, Make that three singles! This was down the leg side, Binny flicks it towards short fine leg who makes a good stop. Binny will be disappointed he could not get that away.
15.2
S Watson to Jos Buttler, Slower ball on middle, Buttler tries to go inside out but gets it off the inner half towards square leg for a run. So juts two singles to start the over.
15.1
S Watson to S Binny, Starts off with a slower ball. Binny walks across his stumps and works it through mid-wicket. Binny wants two but has to be happy with one.
