Over 19 Royal Challengers Bangalore 187/5/No

We're done with today's double-header. A straightforward win for Kolkata earlier in the evening to strengthen their position in the points table while Bangalore are doing just enough to hang in there. Tomorrow once again we have a couple of games lined up for you. Chennai will be hosting Hyderabad in Pune at 1600 IST (1030 GMT) and then Mumbai will welcome Rajasthan at the Wankhede Stadium at 2000 IST (1430 GMT). Do join us for all the action. Cheers!
AB de Villiers is chosen for the Man of the Match award. He played yet another dazzling knock and stayed till the end after the dismissal of Virat Kohli to make sure Bangalore cross the line safely.
For Delhi, their bowling started on a bright note but didn't show enough fire after that. Debutant Sandeep Lamichhane showed a lot of promise but apart from him, there wasn't much resistance offered. Earlier, Rishabh Pant once again played a breezy knock to set things up for Delhi and a newcomer, Abhishek Sharma set the stage on fire with his 19-ball 46 to take the hosts to 181 which eventually proved to be insufficient.
The chase for Bangalore started on a sorry note as they lost both their openers cheaply. Delhi would have hoped to strangle the visiting team but the pair of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers joined forces to build a match-winning partnership. Their 118-run association crushed all the Delhi dreams, if there was any, as they romped home with an over to spare.
A desirable result for Bangalore and they continue to stay alive in the tournament. Virat Kohli has a big smile on his face as he comes on the ground to shake hands with everyone. A clinical chase by the visiting team to complete their sixth win in a row at the Kotla. Contrasting scenes in the Delhi camp, they are now well and truly knocked out.
18.6
T Boult to de Villiers, SIX! And AB de Villiers ends the chase in a grand manner. Boult serves it full and around off, AB gives it the full whack of his bat and clubs it over long off for a maximum. BANGALORE WIN BY 5 WICKETS AND ONE OVER TO SPARE!
18.5

T Boult to de Villiers, SIX! Ho! Ho! Ho! AB special. Boult tries to follow the batsman outside off but ends up serving a full toss. De Villiers in spite of shuffling way across the stumps manages to hold his balance and dispatches it over square leg for a biggie. He is a special batsman.
18.1

17.6
H Patel to de Grandhomme, 3 Wides.
Colin de Grandhomme is the new batsman. 14 needed off 13 balls.
17.5
H Patel to S Khan, OUT! What was that? Patel bowls a sharp delivery but fails to land it. It's a low full toss dipping into the batsman and Khan tries to scoop it over the keeper. Fails to get the proper connection and ends up chipping it towards fine leg, close to long stop in fact. Prithvi Shaw is standing very straight at fine leg, not sure whether it's an intention field positioning or young Shaw was out of play. Anyway, the catch comes to him and he grabs it in the second attempt. End of a little cameo by Sarfaraz and he walks back dejected.
17.4
H Patel to S Khan, Change of pace. A slower one, short and outside off, Khan is completely deceived and misses. De Villiers has a word with Sarfaraz.
17.3
H Patel to S Khan, FOUR! Lovely hands! A little bit of width on offer outside off, the length is short and Khan plays it late. He steers it behind backward point and finds the boundary again.
17.3
H Patel to S Khan, Wide! Khan puts the bowler off with his little trick. Shapes up for the reverse-batted shot even before the bowler has served and then gets back to his original position. Patel ends up serving it down the leg side.
17.2
H Patel to S Khan, FOUR! Top shot! A full length delivery outside off, Khan plays a nice inside out shot over extra cover and finds the fence.
17.2

17.1
H Patel to S Khan, Not out! A low full toss angling down the leg side, Khan tries to flick but misses and is hit on the pads. They put in an unsuccessful appeal. Shreyas Iyer decides to review it but the replays show it to be missing the leg stump. Delhi lose their review.

Over 17 Royal Challengers Bangalore 157/4/No

Appeal for an lbw. Not given and Shreyas Iyer has referred it. That looks to be missing leg. A review in desperation, have to stay.
Harshal Patel is back on.

16.3
T Boult to de Villiers, A low full toss outside off, de Villiers digs it out through cover-point for a single. No need to do anything fancy and AB knows that.
16.2
T Boult to S Khan, Nicely played! Angling away from the new batsman, on a good length, Sarfaraz just gives it direction and guides it towards third man for a single.
16.1
T Boult to M Singh, OUT! And Boult makes an immediate impact with a wicket. Hurls across a back of a length ball around middle and off, skidding off the surface, Mandeep stays back to hit it across the line but fails to make any sort of connection. It sneaks past him and lights the stumps. 29 needed off 23 balls. The chase still is well and truly in favour of Bangalore.

15.6
A Mishra to de Villiers, Flatter and shorter around off, AB gets deep inside the crease and hammers it towards cow corner. They take two as the fielder misses his shy at the bowler's end. Mishra has bowled out - 4-0-33-1 tonight!
15.5
A Mishra to M Singh, Walks forward to a full ball and forces it down to long on for one.
15.4
A Mishra to M Singh, Good delivery by Mishra. A leg spinner around middle, staying a bit low, Singh tries to flick but gets a leading edge which rolls to point.

14.2
J Dala to M Singh, SIX! If ABD can do it, so can Mandeep! Dala serves it on a back of a length around middle, the pace ain't up to the mark, Mandeep swivels a bit on the back foot and dismisses it behind square leg for a biggie.
14.1
J Dala to M Singh, Starts this spell with an angled in delivery, on the fuller length, Mandeep is on the front foot as he pushes it back towards the bowler.
