Over 19 Perth Scorchers 142/10/Yes

Ben Cutting has been awarded the Man of the Match for his breezy knock in the first innings. So that is it from this game. Perth have suffered their first defeat of the tournament. Whereas the Heat bag another win on their home ground and move second on the points table. We have another clash tomorrow, it is the Melbourne Derby at the Melbourne Cricket ground at 1910 local (0810 GMT). Till then, take care and good bye.
The Scorchers didn't get the much needed start from their top order like they did in the other games. They kept losing wickets and lost their way half-way through. Nonetheless, the will take positives from this game and look to come back stronger the next game.
Massive win for the Heat and they continue their winning run at home. Meanwhile the Scorchers have lost their first match in this season and by a big margin. The platform was laid by the Heat batsmen and their bowlers came out all guns blazing. They kept getting wickets at regular intervals and never allowed the Scorchers to settle in. They held on to their catches unlike Perth and was one of the reasons for their victory.
18.6
B Doggett to J Paris, OUT! Doggett finishes with a five-fer. There was almost a collision between the fielders there. Paris heaves the length ball towards deep mid-wicket. There are two fielders converging after it, the player from that region and the player from long on. The substitute Gannon who was coming in from deep mid-wicket calls for it and takes it. All smiles in the Heat camp as THEY WIN BY 49 RUNS!
18.5
B Doggett to J Richardson, The batsman guides it to third man. The batsmen have run through for a single.
18.4
B Doggett to J Richardson, FOUR! That was smartly played! Doggett bowls it short outside off, Richardson makes room and carves it over point for a boundary.
18.3
B Doggett to J Paris, The batsman has driven it through mid on. One run added to the total.
18.2
B Doggett to A Tye, OUT! Doggett gets his fourth this time! That is plump! He bowls it fuller on the stumps, Tye walks across and tries to flick but misses to get hit on the pads. The players appeal and the umpire straightaway raises his finger.
18.1
B Doggett to A Tye, In the air...dropped! Doggett almost had his fourth. He bowls it shorter in length on off, the batsman pulls it down towards long on. Steketee there, runs in, puts in a dive, gets two hands two it but can't cling on. Two runs taken by the batsmen.

Another one in the bucket for the Heat and it seems Perth are giving it away without a fight. Heat are doing it with ease.
