Rohit Sharma made history by becoming the first Indian cricketer to perform the ritual of throwing the ‘first pitch’ in Major League Baseball, on Sunday. Rohit was invited by the Seattle based team – Seattle Mariners – to perform the ceremony at their home ground, Safeco Field baseball park, ahead of their tie against Tampa Bay Rays later in the day. Rohit was accompanied by his wife, Ritika Sajdeh for the ceremony.
The hitman took his time to aim for the pitch, and while throwing the pitch, he threw the ball way wide from the catcher. In the video shared by a fan, he was seen holding his head in distress after the pitch.
